Setup Development: Headings
You use the Headings tab to import the headings design file, and to validate that the file is correct and that the fields of information attached to the lines of the design file are correctly configured.
The Headings tab includes three buttons in the Designs pane on the left, and the 3D Canvas on the right.
The Load Design button opens the Choose a Centreline Design form, which allows you to browse for and select the design file.
You can have only one design file loaded for your scenario. If you choose to load a new design file, it replaces the current design file.
The Export Design button exports the design file, and, if the export file format supports additional parameters, the names you have assigned to the headings in GEOVIA MineSched.
The Unload Design button unloads the design file and all of the development parameters you have assigned in MineSched. Unloading a design is useful if you have loaded a design file, but then decide to schedule only production.
When you load a design file, you must map the fields of the file to the MineSched parameters. If you are using a design file where the centrelines have been defined for scheduling in MineSched, or where the centrelines were defined using the Advanced Underground Design (AUD) module of Surpac, the fields are mapped automatically to the MineSched parameters. The following table shows the mapping of the description fields of a design file created in MineSched or AUD and the parameters of a heading design file,.
| D-Field | Parameter |
|---|---|
| D1 | Heading Name |
| D3 | Heading Width |
| D4 | Heading Height |
| D14 | SG |
| D15 | Profile String File |
